How do our glasses frame our outlook?

A timeless symbol of Old Hollywood elegance, Cary Grant Sun is meticulously crafted in Japan and available in two new colorways.

In its Spring 2025 campaign, Oliver Peoples invites us to reflect on a subtle but powerful idea: that perspective isn’t just about what we see — it’s about how we’re seen. In Eyes of Oliver, directed by the ever-intuitive Guy Aroch, eyewear becomes more than an accessory. It becomes character.

Oliver Peoples Spring 2025 'Eyes of Oliver'

Set against the cinematic sprawl of the Beverly Estate — once a hideaway for Marion Davies and William Randolph Hearst — the short film unfolds like a forgotten reel of 1940s Hollywood: textured, silent, sunlit, and charged with mystery.

Hollywood's new generation revives the classics: Brandon Sklenar in the iconic Cary Grant frame, now in Sencha.

Actor Brandon Sklenar plays Oliver, a presence who only fully appears when seen through Oliver Peoples frames. He drifts across palm-lined patios and minimalist interiors, his gaze concealed behind the Cary Grant Sun in DTB + True Brown, a new colorway crafted in Japan with the precision of Old Hollywood tailoring.

Opposite him is Camille Rowe, whose fiery cool is grounded in the Eyles frames (BECR + G-15 Gradient). In one quietly electric moment, she confronts Oliver poolside — and as she lowers her glasses, he vanishes. A flicker. A question. Was he ever really there?

The ingénue captivates in Etlin, a round titanium optical frame available with clear or washed lenses.

The entire campaign plays with presence and absence, glamour and reality, icon and observer. And that’s the genius of Oliver Peoples — the way it reframes Los Angeles not as backdrop, but as co-star.

Behind every pair of tinted lenses is a story. A persona. A performance waiting to unfold.
