In a world saturated with staged perfection, Greg Williams remains a master of the in-between moment. His name is etched into the visual language of modern entertainment, where his signature candid portraiture brings a rare intimacy to some of the world’s most photographed faces. Williams doesn’t just take pictures. He reveals presence.

Long before the red carpet, his lens was focused elsewhere. In the 1990s, Greg cut his teeth as a war photojournalist, covering conflicts in Burma, Chechnya, and Sierra Leone. It was raw, fast, unfiltered—an education in storytelling that now permeates every frame he shoots. His transition into film sets came through The Sunday Times Magazine, a turning point that opened the door to over 200 productions and four Bond campaigns. His work, ever observational, has become part of cinema's visual archive.

Trusted by BAFTA, the Golden Globes, the Oscars, and icons like Daniel Craig, Greg’s access is unparalleled—but it’s his style that sets him apart. Timeless. Effortless. Close. He captures glamour not as spectacle, but as something undeniably human.

Beyond the still image, Greg creates with motion and purpose. His ‘moving reportage’ films reflect the same ethos: unpolished, immersive, real. As a product designer, his collaboration with Leica and Daniel Craig on a limited edition Q2 camera became the brand’s fastest-selling large-scale release. This object reflects his blend of classic craftsmanship and cultural edge.

Through his platform Skills Faster, Greg is passing on decades of instinct, offering the tools to see candidly and shoot with intention. His mission is clear: democratize good photography—and empower the next generation to shoot with curiosity, not just gear.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Greg Williams continues to evolve, publish, and surprise—bringing his audience of over a million along for the ride. His Mayfair studio is not just a workspace, but a portal into his world of quiet precision and visual honesty.

We’re deeply inspired by Greg’s ability to capture presence with such quiet power. His work reminds us why we fell in love with photography in the first place. We look forward to learning more from his vision.
